1 head Medium Cabbage
bulb chopped onion
2 stalks chopped leek
one chopped carrot
1 cup rice
300 gr. chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
1 tablespoon paprika
Preparation of Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls Recipe:
Put the cabbage in a stockpot with enough water to cover and bring water to boil .
Boil until the leaves cook, about 15-20 minutes and then place them to cool.
Put finely chopped onion, leek and carrot into a pan, and fry them for a while with olive oil.
Add salt and black pepper, then add 1 cup rice and chopped walnuts and fry them as well until they become brown.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C .
Take one cabbage leaf, put 1 tablespoon of the rice mixture into the middle and roll up into a ball.
After you have rolled all your cabbage leaves , put them into the crock pot and add 1 tablespoon paprika .
Pour enough water to cover the rolls and cook them on low temperature for 3-4 hours.
