Tartar sauce combined with corn croquettes – perfect combination
I would like to suggest Tartar Sauce and corn starch Croquettes as a top idea for easy and delicious breakfast.
I also use to serve this combination for dinner, but it also might be served as an excellent breakfast.
They are easy to prepare but more than nothing less delicious.
We can start the tartar sauce preparation.
4 hard-boiled egg yolks
3 fresh yolks
8 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp sour cream
Lemon juice – optional
Salt – optional
Put the hard-boiled yolks into a bowl and smash them with fork.
Add the three fresh yolks and mix them with food mixer until they become foamy.
Put the olive oil into the mixed yolks drop by drop, and stir continually.
Add the sour cream at the end, along with lemon juice, and whisk it all well until all ingredients become consistent.
Refrigerate the tartar sauce until it gets cool.
CORN STARCH CROQUETTES
150gr./5.3 oz corn starch
150gr./5.3 oz regular white flour
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tsp salt
Grated cheese – optional
Mix the corn starch and the white flour with baking powder and salt.
Add all ingredients and knead the dough well.
I would recommend that you don’t add much yogurt into it, because the dough itself seems a little dry at the beginning.
The quantity you need to prepare is well enough, and you will ensure about it when all ingredients knead well.
Shape some croquettes with your own hands.
Deep-fry the croquettes with cooking oil at medium temperature.
Pile the croquettes onto paper napkin to release the surplus of grease, and put it all into serving plate.
Serve the corn croquettes with the already cooled tartar sauce.
