And you know what? You won’t need a blender at all to prepare such recipe.

Ingredients you need to prepare the sponge cake:

10 tablespoons regular white flour

16 tablespoons sugar

200 ml. milk

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1.1/5 teaspoons sodium bicarbonate

Ingredients you need for the topping:

6 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

10 tablespoons cooking oil

15 tablespoons milk

100 gr. dark chocolate

Preparation of the sponge cake:

First, put dry ingredients in a bowl such as flour, sugar, cocoa and sodium bicarbonate, mix well, and add milk at last.

Stir entire mixture well so that it becomes consistent, and then put it in a baking tray that is previously greased with cooking oil and floured as well.

Bake sponge cake for approximately half an hour at 200 C.

Then, take the baked sponge cake out of the oven, and start with topping preparation.

First, melt the chocolate on steam.

While chocolate is melting, boil milk in a pot, add cooking oil, cocoa and sugar, so that all ingredients melt in the mixture.

The topping must be stirred continually so that it does not overcook, and at the end pour the hot topping onto the lukewarm sponge cake all after all ingredients are melted down.

Finally, pour melted chocolate onto the topping you’ve prepared.

Chocolate Salami

Chocolate Salami is one of those desserts that are almost always present in my kitchen fridge.

It is always ready to be served every time my folks desire to try something sweet.

I use to prepare many combinations with it such as kernel, walnuts, nuts or hazelnuts, and also combinations with dried fruits, such as dried pineapple, raisin, dried figs etc.

 

Chocolate Salami

 

No matter which combination you choose, you won’t regret, it really melts in your mouth once you try it.

Today I’m preparing the following combination, which I believe you’ll like it.

Ingredients for Chocolate Salami :

400 gr. sugar

100 gr. hazelnuts

100 ml. warm water

130 gr. butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

250 gr. ground or crushed biscuits

Chocolate Salami toppings:

100 gr. chocolate

80 gr. butter

Preparation of Chocolate Salami :

First, put 100 ml. water into a pot and add sugar so that it melts.

Also melt some butter, only after sugar is already melted.

Then, add biscuits, hazelnuts and vanilla when butter turns into a liquid altogether with water.

Stir it all so that entire mixture conjoins well.

Grease baking pattern into which you’ll pour the mixture with butter, and shape the mixture as well according to the shape of the pattern.

You can also make various shapes using the mixture, such as balls, roulades, or paper cake cups.

When the shape you like is prepared, put Chocolate Salami aside to cool down for a while and prepare the toppings in meanwhile.

Melt both chocolate and butter on steam, and after it melts completely pour it onto both Chocolate Salami sides.

Put aside again to cool down a bit, and refrigerate.

You won’t make any mistake if you prepare a double dose, since it really melts in your mouth once you try it, and plates are immediately emptied.

Easy Banana Cheesecake Recipe as a real choice just for your taste.

I’m not sure about you, but to me banana is one of my favorite fruits, and every flavor related to it makes me feel satisfied.

It is one of the older recipes that are recorded in My Culinary Stories notebook.

Just as many other recipes, this one has underwent several changes and is adjusted according to my personal tastes.

Ingredients you need to prepare Easy Banana Cheesecake Recipe base:

4 egg whites

4 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon cocoa

6 tablespoons grind nuts

2 tablespoons regular white flour

I must emphasize that we prepare two separate parts of dough, by using the same ingredients.

First, divide egg yolks from egg whites, and then blend them using blender until they become hard.

Add the rest of the ingredients gradually, and blend until they turn into a consistent mixture.

Then, grease baking tray with some cooking oil, put baking paper onto it, and pour the entire mixture at the end.

You must bake two separate parts that will be used as a base for such great banana cheesecake.

Put aside both parts to cool down when they are ready, and prepare the cake cream in meanwhile.

500 gr. cream cheese

200 gr. powdered sugar

Gelatin

100 ml. milk

300 gr. sweet cream

4 bananas

Preparation of Easy Banana Cheesecake Recipe cream:

First, put gelatin into the milk so that it dissolves well.

Blend the cream cheese together with powdered sugar, so that they conjoin together well.

Then, add the sweet cream gradually, into which you’ve added the dissolved gelatin previously.

Keep on blending, so that all ingredients conjoin together into a consistent mixture.

Put the first part of the base into a cake baking tray, and sprinkle it with some lukewarm milk.

Then, pour half of the cream cheese onto it.

Cut bananas along their length and arrange onto the cream.

Add the other part of the cream and level its surface. At the end put the second part of the cake base and sprinkle it also with some lukewarm milk.

Finally, put the cake into a refrigerator so that it becomes solid. In meanwhile prepare the last part – the decoration.

Ingredients you need to prepare the cake decoration:

300 ml. sweet cream

100 gr. chocolate

1 tablespoon cooking oil

Preparation:

First, melt chocolate at low temperature, together with the cooking oil.

Blend sweet cream aside, and coat the entire cake when it is ready.

Finally, pour the melted chocolate onto the cake.

You can also end the decoration with some banana, sliced into small rounds if you want. It is all optional.

Homemade biscuit cookies recipe is the real choice when you want to surprise your children, but believe me you also won’t be able to resist.

This recipe is one of my many older recipes I really adore, and I often use them when I want to prepare something new for my children.

Homemade Biscuit Cookies Recipe

I would freely suggest making a double dose of these cookies, because once you make them and serve the plate on the table, it will immediately be emptied.

Ingredients you need to prepare homemade biscuit cookies recipe:

400 gr. flour

100gr. starch

2 eggs

200 gr. sugar

200 gr. butter

Baking powder

Vanilla

Preparation of homemade biscuit cookies recipe:

First, I must say that you need to put aside butter at room temperature, so that it becomes soft, which can further be easily processed.

Put both eggs and sugar into a mixing bowl, blend them until they turn into a foam.

Then, put the dry ingredients such as flour, starch and baking powder into another bowl.

When eggs are completely mixed, move into gradually adding dry ingredients, and then add butter at the end.

Switch off blender, and knead the mixture with your own hand until it turns into a fine, soft and smooth dough.

Divide dough into two halves after you’ve kneaded well.

Roll each part of the dough with a rolling pin, with making it thick for a half cm.

Use cooking patterns, or a single glass to create various biscuit cookie shapes.

Put biscuit cookies into a baking tray, onto which you’ve previously set baking paper.

Make sure you make some 1 cm free space between cookies, because they increase their volume while baking.

Finally, bake cookies at 200 C for approximately 20 minutes.

You can also freely use these biscuit cookies dough as a base for your dessert when you want to prepare a cheese cake next time.

Pickled Cucumbers Recipe

Pickled cucumbers recipe is the one I would like to share with you today.

I really can’t describe their taste, you’ll just have to try, and believe it or not, they’ll make you feel satisfied.

The quantity of the ingredients is meant for only one jar of pickled cucumbers, so you cannot prepare some great additional quantities.

Ingredients you need to prepare a jar of Pickled Cucumbers Recipe:

50 ml. vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons sugar

Peppercorns

Fresh onion cut into circles

Preparation of Pickled Cucumbers Recipe:

First, prepare jars that must be perfectly clear and disinfected.

Check well lids which must fit perfectly with the jars, so that cucumbers do not spoil.

Replace some lid with a new one if it does not fit well with the jar, it will cost you less money.

Then, wash cucumbers well, and put aside to strain well.

I would emphasize that you choose the volume of the cucumbers on your own. I must say I prefer those little ones.

Full each jar with cucumbers, and cram them well into it.

Put some onion circles between cucumbers. The choice about quantity of onion you’ll make on your own.

Add also 5-6 peppercorns into each jar.

I’ve seen many people adding fresh dill, cloves of garlic, white mustard seeds when preparing this recipe, so if you prefer such additions, don’t hesitate to put them as well.

Put vinegar, salt and sugar into a large bowl, and then stir well so that salt and sugar dissolve well.

Full jars with such solution, and pour some fresh water into the jar space that remained available.

Shut lids well, and arrange jars into a large boiling pot.

Pour some water into the pot that will reach the top of the jars.

Boil it at low temperature, and leave jars into it approximately for an hour.

Finally, witch off cooker, and put aside jars to cool down for couple of hours.

Just try this recipe, and you’ll get some perfect homemade salad that won’t cost much, but is also excellent.

Old-fashioned cookies

Old-fashioned cookies I must say, came as a real surprise after all those modern recipes I’ve used to prepare recently.

Although I adore chocolate sweets and desserts, I pronounce these old-fashioned cookies as the best.

They remind me of my early childhood when the entire kitchen was fulfilled with the smell of vanilla and butter that came out of the freshly baked cookies my mother used to prepare.

Surprise your children with these old-fashioned cookies which I’m sure they’ll really love them.

Old-fashioned cookies

Ingredients you need to prepare old-fashioned cookies:

300 gr. butter

100 gr powdered sugar

½ lemon zest

6 egg yolks

300 gr self-rising flour

Marmalade (optional)

Powdered sugar – to sprinkle cookies

Vanilla powder

Old-fashioned cookies

Preparation of old-fashioned cookies:

First, melt 300 gr of butter into powdered sugar at low temperature. Stir continually with a tablespoon while they are melting.

Put aside when butter melts and conjoins well with the sugar, and then add egg yolks one after another with mixing continually.

Then, add flour when yolks are mixed well, and keep mixing so that all ingredients turn into a consistent mixture.

Now you need a cake syringe to shape cookies. Fill the cake syringe with the mixture you’ve prepared. The best shapes are created if the syringe itself has a star shape tool.

Grease baking tray, and then sprinkle with flour.

Use syringe to create small cookies with a dimension as a coin and shape as a star.

Put some marmalade into the middle of each created cookie star.

Finally, bake cookies at 200 C so that they become brown.

The real taste of old-fashioned cookies comes if you put aside for couple of hours so that they cool down well.

There is no need to waste words for all gains that beets consuming brings with, as we all know that its frequent consuming makes people healthier.

You can make two jars of healthy salad using the following quantity of ingredients.

1 kg beets

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

100 ml. vinegar

First, wash beets well, and make sure you removed the mud.

If you have more time, you can chop beets into small cubes. If the beets are not that much big, just peel it.

Pour beets with water after you’ve chopped or sliced them, so that water covers the beets entirely, and boil at medium temperature.

Beets boiling should be ready for approximately an hour.

Be careful not to over-boil it, so that beets’ mild note of crispness could be still present.

Add salt, sugar and vinegar when beets have already boiled.

Stir well so that salt and sugar dissolve well, and then quit boiling.

Put boiled beets into jars while still hot, and make sure jar lids are shut well.

Then, put aside beets to cool down at room temperature, and finally keep it in refrigerator.

Try to prepare pickled beets and you won’t regret it. Its taste will amaze you.

Chocolate Baklava

Phyllo dough traditional chocolate baklava is a number one dessert that serves as a must when you desire to try something sweet that tastes delicious.

Its taste will simply make you remain amazed.

Just imagine the chocolate and orange peel combination – fantastic.

Its preparation is quick and simple.

Ingredients you need to prepare phyllo dough traditional chocolate baklava:

500gr. phyllo dough

300gr. grind hazelnuts

400gr. grated chocolate

Lemon peel

Orange peel

250gr. butter

Preparation of phyllo dough traditional chocolate baklava:

First, grate chocolate into a large bowl.

Chop some roasted hazelnuts and add into the grated chocolate.

Chocolate Baklava

Then, zest the lemon and orange peel and add as well.

Mix well hazelnuts, grated chocolate, lemon and orange zest, so that they conjoin together.

Grease phyllo dough baking tray with butter.

Then, take one layer phyllo and overlap into two halves.

Spread chocolate filling onto each phyllo halves.

Overlap the ends of the phyllo, so that chocolate filling is kept inside, and then roll the phyllo.

Put together each phyllo roulade into a butter greased baking tray.

Cut such prepared roulades so that each piece comes approximately 3-4 cm, or whatever you like.

Melt 250gr. butter and pour it onto the phyllo roulades.

Bake around 45 minutes at 180 C.

Put aside baklava when ready, to cool down.

In meanwhile prepare the sharbat (a Turkish word for a type of syrup), that you will pour onto the phyllo dough to complete preparation of baklava.

Ingredients you need to prepare sharbat (syrup):

1l. water

700gr. sugar

1 lemon cut into thin circles

Preparation of sharbat:

Chocolate Baklava

Boil water, sugar and lemon into a boiling pot at medium temperature.

Stir occasionally so that sugar melts well into the water.

Keep boiling for additional 5-10 minutes, and pour the sharbat until still hot onto the phyllo dough baklava that has already cooled down.

Such prepared phyllo dough baklava is recommended to be consumed one day later, so that phyllo absorbs well the sharbat.

Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Chocolate meringue cookies are a top choice if you ask me what to prepare when want to try something sweet.

I adore chocolate meringue cookies because I always use my imagination when preparing.

You don’t have to use any additional ingredients besides egg whites and sugar.

You can also add cookies color, create various shapes with cream syringe, and decorate in many ways.

I prefer homemade meringue cookies prepared with my favorite chocolate.

Just try them and you will certainly be amazed.

Ingredients for Chocolate Meringue Cookies :

3 egg whites

300 gr sugar

70 gr. chocolate

200 gr. walnut

Preparation of Chocolate Meringue Cookies :

Chocolate Meringue Cookies

First, preheat oven at 180 C.

Mix egg whites into a mixing bowl at highest speed rate.

Egg whites have to turn into hard mixture.

Add sugar gradually and keep mixing.

Check if sugar melted well into the whites in a way you’ll take some of the cream and rub between your fingers.

If sugar is not melted well, you will feel how it scratches your fingers.

Switch off mixer when whites are ready, and add grated chocolate.

Stir well, and then add crushed walnuts.

Be careful and stir slowly and carefully.

Cover baking tray with baking paper.

You can also use cream syringe to shape meringue cookies.

In this way they look highly decorated, but you can also scoop some of the mixture with a tablespoon, then put onto the baking paper, and shape whatever you like.

Bake meringue cookies when shaped, and turn off oven when ready.

Cookies have to stay for approximately two hours, until the oven cools down. In fact, they must dry.

Do not open the oven, until they are not ready.

If your oven has a cooler embedded, it would help more the chocolate meringue cookies dry quickly.

Arrange carefully into serving plate, because they easily break when still warm.

Chocolate meringue cookies taste terrific. They just melt in your mouth.
