Preparation of Special Aubergine Recipe :

The preparation of such recipe itself starts with aubergines being washed well, and cut as small circles, thick about 5 mm.

Then, sprinkle each aubergine circle with salt and arrange it all on a cotton towel, and leave it for a while so that aubergine releases the water into which they were washed previously.

Preheat some olive oil, and roll each aubergine circle in flour, and prepare them to be fried.

When fried, put aubergines on a paper so that now they release the surplus of grease.

Put sour cream into another bowl, add finely cut parsley, the crushed garlic, salt and black pepper.

Mix sour cream well so that all ingredients spread well around.

Arrange fried aubergine circles on a serving plate and top it with the sour cream and garlic topping.

Refreshing sour cream & fried peppers salad is always present on the menu when I’m really fed up with those ordinary and usual salads.

Not that salads themselves are not good, but all of us want a sort of change sometimes, don’t we?

 

I called it salad, but it is also consumed as a daily meal.

Imagine you top such salad on a wonderfully baked piece of bread. Mmmmm… quite delicious.

I use preparing such salad with some more cloves of garlic, but if you don’t like garlic that much, you just freely exclude it.

But believe it or not, the addition of garlic makes such salad tastier.

I wouldn’t cite a quantity of a salad, since it all depends of the number of persons to consume, and therefore I’ll mention just the ingredients.

Ingredients for Sour Cream & Fried Peppers Salad :

– Finely cut fresh peppers

– Sour cream

– Several cloves of garlic

– Salt

– Finely cut fresh parsley

Preparation of Sour Cream & Fried Peppers Salad :

First, cut the peppers finely, and then stir-fry in a preheated cooking oil so that they get soften.

In meanwhile, put some sour cream in a large bowl, a bowl in which you’ll also serve the salad.

Then, add the garlic that you’ll previously crush using garlic press, and also add some salt and black pepper.

Put the peppers all together with some oil in the sour cream, after they get soften from stir-frying.

Mix it all well so that it turns into consistent mixture.

At the end, decorate it with finely cut parsley.

The refreshing sour cream & fried peppers salad is served as an addition to many kinds of meat.

Today I’m suggesting you prepare some chicken drumsticks with sour cream as an idea for your upcoming lunch.

If you are chicken meat lover, this recipe will make you feel amazed.

Ingredients for Chicken Drumsticks With Sour Cream :

6 chicken drumsticks

2 eggs

400 ml sour cream

4 tablespoons mustard

3 cloves of garlic

salt

Preparation of Chicken Drumsticks With Sour Cream :

First, wash chicken drumsticks well, and put aside to dry.

Use cotton towel if needed to mop them so that they are finally dry.

Prepare the other ingredients into another bowl, ingredients you’ll use to prepare some white sauce.

Whip two eggs manually using whisk or kitchen fork.

Cut garlic finely or you can crush it using garlic press, and then add to the whisked eggs.

Also add mustard, sour cream, and put some salt and black pepper.

So, add all ingredients together, and mix all well so that entire mixture conjoins well.

If you prefer some other spices, feel free to add, and believe me it will fit perfectly.

It would be a good idea if you add mushrooms in the recipe, or previously thin sliced bacon, but the choice is certainly yours, so that you can freely experiment with.

Roll each drumstick into such prepared white sauce, arrange into roasting tray that is previously greased with cooking oil or butter.

When chicken drumsticks are arranged, pour the rest of white sauce onto it, and shake the roasting tray well.

Cover entire roasting tray with an aluminum foil.

Roast drumsticks for approximately an hour at 180 -200 C.

Breaded Marrows Cream

Breaded marrows cream is one of my favorite creams I use to prepare during summer.

Such cream is easy to prepare, and consumed with pleasure.

Its taste is fantastic, it is easily consumed and also highly flavored.

If you prefer much garlic it is the right recipe for you.

Breaded Marrows Cream

In case you don’t like garlic, you can certainly skip, but remember that the unique taste of breaded marrows cream comes combined with garlic.

You prepare it in two phases, with breaded marrows prepared at first.

Ingredients you need to prepare Breaded Marrows Cream :

1 bigger fresh marrow

100 gr. whole-wheat flour

2 eggs

1 tablespoon wild thyme

1 tablespoon turmeric powder

Salt

Black pepper

Preparation of breaded marrows:

First, peel one fresh marrow, and cut into circles that have to be approximately 2 mm thick.

Mix the whole-wheat flour along with wild thyme spice, salt, black pepper and turmeric powder, and stir it all well.

Then, whisk two eggs.

Preheat olive oil into a frying pan at medium temperature.

Put each marrow into whisked eggs, and then roll well into the flour.

Deep-fry marrows at both sides, so that they become darker.

Put aside fried marrows to cool down well.

Prepare ingredients you need to prepare the breaded marrows cream while marrows cool down.

Ingredients you need to prepare breaded marrows cream:

150 gr. ricotta

5 tablespoons sour cream

1 tablespoon mustard

5-6 cloves of garlic

Salt

Black pepper

1 tablespoon dried oregano

Preparation of breaded marrows cream:

First, remove garlic skins, and grind well. (you can also use garlic press to perform this)

Put all ingredients you need to prepare the cream into a blender.

You can easily experiment with the types of spices you use and add some of your favorites, because the cream basis in this recipe are the marrows themselves which enable different combinations.

Add breaded marrows into the blender as well, then mix well until all ingredients conjoin together and turn into a solid mixture.

Put breaded marrows cream you’ve prepared in this way into small jars, and keep it into a refrigerator.

Breaded marrows cream can be also used as an addition to various meals.

It is best combined with meat, especially with chicken.

Fresh farmers’ cheese & sesame salad

Fresh farmers’ cheese & sesame salad will evoke all your senses, and believe it or not will amaze your beloved guests.

This kind of salad can also replace a daily meal.

You can prepare it easily, and it won’t take much of your free time.

Fresh farmers’ cheese & sesame salad

Ingredients you need to prepare fresh farmers’ cheese & sesame salad:

500 gr. fresh farmers’ cheese

100 gr. sesame

1 teaspoon butter

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

5 tablespoons sour cream

200 gr. finely cut walnuts

2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

1 tablespoon mustard

1 finely cut chili (optional)

2 cloves of grind garlic

Preparation of fresh farmers’ cheese & sesame salad:

First, put both sesame and butter to fry for a while at low temperature, so that sesame becomes darker.

Grind the garlic, (you can also use garlic press to grind) and then add mayonnaise, mustard and sour cream, and stir it all well.

Scoop 2-3 tablespoons farmers’ cheese, and stir so that it conjoins into smoothly prepared mixture.

Cut walnuts finely, and also add chili if you prefer more spicy food. It is all optional.

Put the rest of farmers’ cheese into a large bowl, and add the mixture containing mayonnaise and sour cream.

Then, add sesame and finely chopped parsley.

Finally, stir the entire mixture well, so that all ingredients conjoin together.

Choose your own decorations.

RICE WHITE SALAD

Ingredients:

1 cup rice

3 cups water

200gr. ham

3-4 pickles

400ml. sour cream

1 tablespoon mustard

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Salt

Black pepper

Preparation:

Wash rice well, put into a bowl with 3 cups of water, and boil.

Chop ham and pickles into small cubes, while the rice is boiling.

Flush rice into cold water when ready, and put aside for a while so that water into which it boiled strains completely.

Then, put chopped pickles and chopped ham into a bowl, and add the strained rice.

Also add mayonnaise and mustard, salt well, sprinkle some black pepper, and mix well so that all ingredients conjoin together.

 

CHICKEN SALAD

Ingredients:

4 pieces chicken breasts

4 hard-boiled eggs

3-4 pickles

500gr marinated mushrooms

150gr. grated parmesan

3 tablespoons mustard

200gr. sour cream

500gr. mayonnaise

Preparation:

First, boil chicken breasts at low temperature.

Prepare the rest ingredients while chicken breasts boil.

Chop both pickles and marinated mushrooms, and put it all into a bowl.

Then, add grated parmesan.

Cut chicken breasts finely when boiled already, or simply tear them into small pieces if you like.

Put chicken breasts into the bowl with previously chopped pickles and ham, and mix all ingredients well.

At the end, add sour cream and mustard.

Mix all well again so that all ingredients conjoin together.

 

MACARONI SALAD

Ingredients:

300gr. macaroni

400gr. ham

400gr. boiled carrots

300gr. pickles

250gr. parmesan

300gr. peas

200gr. mayonnaise

450gr. sour cream

3 tablespoons mustard

First, boil macaroni.

Meanwhile, also boil both carrots and peas aside.

Put finely cut ham, parmesan, carrots and pickles into a large bowl.

Strain macaroni well from water into which they’ve boiled, and add into the bowl.

Mix all ingredients well, and then add mayonnaise, mustard and sour cream.

Keep on mixing until all ingredients turn into consistent mixture.

Eggplant Parmesan Recipe

I suggest Eggplant Parmesan as summer’s number one Recipe, since it is easy to prepare and tastes really good.

Eggplants contain much of dietary fibers and are also good for human’s health.

Their sustenance is pretty much high, but it contains less calories compared to various other vegetables. Therefore we feel absolutely replete when consuming it.

I would emphasize that you can also prepare a vegetarian recipe version of this, by adding vegetables instead of meat.

Ingredients for preparing Eggplant Parmesan Recipe:

1 bulb of onion

4 medium sized eggplants

250gr./ 8.8 oz ground meat

2 carrots chopped into small cubes

3 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp fine-cut parsley

2 egg yolks

250ml./1 cup sour cream

4 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Black pepper

Salt – optional

Procedure of preparing Eggplant Parmesan Recipe:

First, wash the eggplants well, remove their stalk, and cut into two halves. Do not peel the husk.

Carve the two halves with spoon, and chop the eggplant into small cubes.

Deep-fry the fine-cut onions and carrots with cooking oil.

Add the ground meat and the small cubes of eggplant into it, after the onions and carrots are fried well.

Then, put two yolks mixed with sour cream, and add some black pepper and salt when it is all finished.

Put some olive oil into a suitable bowl, and cover with aluminum foil.

Roast at least 40 minutes at 180 C/356 F.

Finally, take the tray out of the oven, then pour it all with parmesan, and put it back into the oven to complete roasting.

Roasted Zucchini is one of my favorite recipes I have been serving on many occasions for years.

I can still feel the smell back in the years when my mother used to prepare.

You can experience a wonderful atmosphere present in your kitchen, created by the roasted garlic and bacon.

Just incredible!

Try this recipe Roasted Zucchini and believe me, it will become one of your favorites.

It is easy to prepare and doesn’t take much time.

Ingredients you need, to prepare this recipe – Roasted Zucchini :

-2 medium sized zucchini

-5 cloves of garlic

-cooking oil

-smoked bacon

-4 eggs

-250gr./1 cup sour cream

-oregano

-salt

-black pepper

Instructions how to prepare Roasted Zucchini :

First, peel the zucchini after you wash them well, and cut them into thin slices.

Fry the slices of zucchini in cooking oil at low temperature to get soften.

It is also good if they become a little red.

Then, put the fried zucchini into a roasting tray, and put slices of smoked bacon on it.

Add the cloves of garlic on the bacon and put it all into the oven at 200 C/400 F to roast.

Whisk the eggs aside with a food mixer to increase their volume and at the end add the sour cream and whisk it again.

The smell of the dish itself will tell you it is time to take the tray out.

You can feel the wonderful smell of roasted garlic in your kitchen, and you can see that the garlic also changed its color.

Pour the whisked eggs and the sour cream on the top of the zucchini and put the roasting tray back into the oven to roast for a while.

That’s it!

It smells just incredible !!!

Who says that we have to travel to Greece to try some good gyro?

With this recipe you can prepare your own delicious gyro, just as you order in restaurants.

Although in several phases, its preparation is easy and won’t take much time, if you organize well.

1. First, we prepare the meat with the following ingredients:

-500 gr. fresh chicken breast

-1 tbsp curry powder

-1 tsp dried vegetables mix

-1 tbsp mustard

-salt and pepper

-50 ml. water

Wash the chicken breast and cut in thin slices.

Add the other spices and poach it well on low fire, to get the meat soften.

When the meat is ready, put the mustard as well.

 

2. All you need to prepare the dough for pita bread:

-500 gr. all-purpose flour

-150 ml. water

-100 ml. sour cream

-20 gr. baking powder

-salt

-sugar

Knead the dough with these ingredients and divide it into six balls.

Roll the dough balls with rolling pin in size of the baking tray.

Now you can grease the baking tray with cooking oil or butter and put them to roast at 200 degrees C around 10 minutes.

 

3. Prepare the topping with the following ingredients:

-300 ml. sour cream

-1 cucumber

-salt

-1 tbsp cooking oil

-dill and garlic  powder

For preparing the topping, grate the cucumber, add the cooking oil and the rest of the spices.

Finally, add the sour cream, stir it get all ingredients consistent and refrigerate.

4. In meantime, prepare French fries with 500 gr fried potatoes, while the meat is ready.

When completing these procedures, it is time to stuff the gyro.

Take one pita bread, coat it with a thin layer of mustard, and roll it into cone.

Wrap the half of the cone with a napkin, and stuff the gyro.

Now its time to put several French fries, meat, French fries again and put the topping at the end.

Sprinkle it with dried oregano, and…
