Smoked salmon roulade

Once you prepare, you will prepare it forever!

A kind of smoked salmon roulade I often serve at our dining table.

What can I say?

Just try it to ensure how delicious it is.

 

Smoked salmon roulade

 

Ingredients you need to prepare the recipe:

Dough:

– 6 eggs
– 4 tbsp / 60 g of white flour
– 2 tbsp / 30 g of corn flour
– 200 ml of sour cream
– 2 tbsp / 30 ml cooking oil
– Baking powder
– ½ tsp salt

Filling:

– 200ml. sour cream
– 300gr. cream cheese
– 100gr. hard or yellow cheese
– 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
– 1 tbsp mayonnaise
– 300gr. thin slices of smoked salmon

Preparation of the smoked salmon:

First of all, whisk the egg whites into very hard snow. Then, whisk the yolks aside and put the sour cream, the cooking oil and the salt.

Mix the whites and the yolks, and add the white flour and the baking powder. Stir all ingredients easily, to get consistent mixture.

Furthermore, wrap the baking tray with baking paper, grease it and pour the mixture. Bake for around half an hour on 200 degrees C / 400 degrees F, and 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F afterwards.

After you bake the crust, put it on wet towel and roll it to get a roulade.

While waiting for the crust to get cool, prepare the filling aside, to stuff the roulade with smoked salmon. Grate the hard or the yellow cheese, and add the other ingredients.

Coat the dough with a thin lay of the filling and put smoked salmon on it. Pour the rest of the filling and make a roulade.

 

Put the roulade into fridge for an hour to get cool.

Finally, decorate the smoked salmon roulade to your liking, and coat it with sour cream. Adding different spices is optional.
