Ingredients for Ideal Dough Rolls :
600 gr. regular white flour
100 gr. butter
100 ml. cooking oil
120 ml. lukewarm milk
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Dough rolls filling:
350 gr. grated cheese
1 egg white
Dough rolls coating:
1 teaspoon mustard
1 egg yolk
Sesame (to sprinkle)
Preparation of Ideal Dough Rolls :
First, put all abovementioned dough ingredients and then knead the dough.
The dough kneads quite well and it does not glue on your hands since it is greased, so you don’t need to add some more flour.
Leave aside the dough when it is all kneaded so that it increases its volume.
Then, divide the dough in two halves, all after it grows well, so that you knead it furthermore easily.
So, spread the first part well so that you get some thin square shaped filo.
Mix filling cheese well along with egg white, then divide the mixture in two halves that will coat the two halves of the dough.
Use the first filling half to coat the filo, and then make a roll out of it.
Repeat the same procedure with the second dough half and the second filo half.
Cut small 3 cm roll pieces out of each roll and arrange them in a previously greased baking tray.
Coat each dough roll with whipped egg yolk and mustard, and sprinkle it with some sesame.
Bake dough rolls at 200 C for approximately half an hour, more precisely until they get brown.
