Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers Recipe is one of those recipes I recommend as an easy dinner or daily snack.
There are many recipes where peppers are stuffed not only with various kinds of meat, but also with vegetables, peppers, cheese, eggs etc.
It is all a consumer’s choice, but nevertheless it tastes equally delicious no matter how you’ll choose to prepare it.
The recipe I am presenting you today is one of those recipes I often use to prepare on many occasions.
Ingredients for Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers Recipe :
500 gr. cream cheese
300 gr. smoked bacon
300 gr. mushrooms
1 chili pepper
Preparation of Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers Recipe :
First, wash peppers well, and remove the seeds they contain inside.
Whisk cream cheese into another bowl alongside with 1 egg and several drops of olive oil.
Cut both smoked bacon and mushrooms into small cubes and add into the cream cheese.
Then, add the finely cut chili pepper into the cream cheese , salt, black pepper and dried oregano.
Stir the entire mixture well so that all ingredients conjoin together.
Fill the peppers with the mixture, but not more than a half of the pepper itself.
Put a baking paper onto the roasting tray, and arrange all peppers in a vertical position, and roast into the oven for approximately 20 minutes at 200 C.
When peppers are softly roasted, take them out and put an egg into each pepper.
Put roasting tray back into the oven until eggs you’ve put, roast as well.
Cream cheese stuffed peppers can be served both warm and cool, and also combined with a glass of fine white wine.
