There is no any other food you can try anywhere such as homemade food.
I often prepare this homemade tomato ketchup, because my kids just love it!
Nowadays, you can easily find different tomato ketchup recipes, but after several preparations I’ve just learn to prepare it to my own taste.
Just try it! You won’t regret it!
– 1kg./ 35 oz tomatoes
– 800gr./28 oz onions
– 1 cup wine vinegar
– 100gr./3.5oz sugar
– 2 tbsp mustard
– 100ml./1/4 c. cooking oil
– black pepper
– 3 chili peppers (optional)
First, remove the onion skin and slice it.
Wash the tomatoes well, pour them with hot water so that you can easily peel, and dice them afterwards.
Then, put the onions and tomatoes together and boil them at low fire for about half an hour.
When they boil for a while, blend them in a blender and put back so that less of the juice remains into the bowl.
Add the spices, the mustard and the wine vinegar, before you put the bowl away.
You can also use various other spices if you like, to make sure it tastes just to your liking.
When the tomato ketchup cools well, put it into well preserved bottles or jars, and keep into refrigerator.
Finally, you can serve tomato ketchup as an addition to many dishes, pastry, pizza, sandwiches, or whatever you like.
