Boiled bagels recipe that I am presenting you today is something fantastic you can prepare when it comes to dough recipes.

Fantastic taste prepared with few ingredients!

Ingredients for boiled bagels recipe:

1 kg. flour

500 ml. lukewarm water

40 gr. yeast

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon sugar

5 tablespoons cooking oil

Preparation of boiled bagels recipe:

First, knead some dough using all above mentioned ingredients, and put aside so that it increases its volume.

Then, knead dough when it reaches its volume, and divide into 20 dough balls.

I would also say that this quantity serves for 20 boiled bagels, but if you think it is too much for you, you can always halve the dose.

Make each dough ball a hole into its middle, then spread so that you create a circle which forms a shape of a ring.

If such procedure seems complicated to you, feel free to create the form you like.

Drop each bagel you’ve formed into caramelized sugar that you prepare using the following ingredients:

10 teaspoons sugar

1.5 L. water

sesame (optional)

Preparation of caramelized sugar:

First, melt sugar at low fire, so that it caramelizes, and then pour the water.

Drop bagels into it, when water is boiled, and keep them boiling for approximately 2 minutes.

Take bagels out of the water, drop into a plate full of sesame, and then arrange them into a previously butter greased baking tray covered with baking paper.

Finally, bake around 15-20 minutes at 220 C.
